Intensely colorful imported stone with a smooth (but not slippery) surface.
Stone Color
The base color tends to be a soft brown or tan, but the graining is so intense and colorful that it is very hard to describe. Should be seen.
Stone Finish
Slightly textured surface that is not slippery.
Stone Coverage
Pieces are cut to exact dimensions so coverage is dependent on how much you buy. This stone is 1" thick.
How It's Sold
By the pallet. Limited single pieces may be available in an open pallet in the yard, but we strongly prefer to sell this stone by the pallet.
Long Description
We sell 2 types of pattern Rainbow walkway and patio stone - Domestic and Imported. This imported option tends to be even more colorful than the domestic option, with intense color bands in the extensive graining throughout the stone. Strikingly beautiful, especially when wet. Reminds many people of Southwestern stone.
Even completely dry the stone is very colorful. The grain is exceptional.
The colors really pop when the stone is wet.
Frequently Asked Questions
We strongly prefer that you buy a whole pallet, however there is typically an open pallet in the yard and you can pick individual pieces from that pallet. We do not allow customers to open new pallets and then mix and match pieces (for size or color) from more than one open pallet.
This stone is imported from overseas as opposed to Domestic Rainbow which is quarried in Pennsylvania.
Our pattern walkway and patio stone is sold by the square foot. All you need to do is measure or approximate the square footage of the walkway or patio you want. If you want a 10 (x) 10 patio that is 100 square feet of stone. We also suggest you add 10% more to cover any cutting, or shaping. So the 100 square foot patio you may want to order 110 square feet.
